Dan Merklinger, LHP
Happy Monday to everyone, for most of us its a little happier then the typical Monday as the Packers are now world champions. I cannot help but imagine what it would be like to feel that thrill of excitement in October. However that is a long way off and for now we will stick with covering the Brewers top prospects. Today we will take a look at left handed pitcher Dan Merklinger who is on the Brewers 40 man roster so you know that Doug Melvin and company sees something in this kid. The Brewers 6th round pick in the 2007 draft played on the 3 levels last year starting at high A and finishing at AAA Nashville. He finished with a 3.65 era and 148 k’s in 143.0 innings of work.
